I have been so busy lately. Last night I had a meeting with a group that are trying to start a Support group for adoptive and pre-adoptive families in our area. They are creating a web site to go to for information and I am a board memeber. We are still working out all the legal stuff. We have a lawyer that works as a guardian at litum for the foster care system and is an adoptive parent as a memeber, It's all confusing for me right now but I'm excited about being involved.
I also mentioned that I wanted to start a place where we can take donations of car seats, diapers, clothes, shoes That would be for our foster care parents when they get a child in the middle of the night or on the weekend ad they can call up and ask for what ever they need, Maybe on a loan(borrow) and return it when their done??? still need to work on that.
So thats what Ive been up to besides working and sick kids. The only one that has not got sick is ME.
I think I have all my Christmas shopping done. I think we went over board on the kids but thats ok. It is soooooo cold today I want to go back to bed for the rest of the day But I am cleaning out my bedroom and everything is now in my kitchen, So I guess I should get it picked up before I have to go and pick kids up.
So I hope everyone is keeping warm today.

Your kids are darling :) We have a place here in the basement of a church that has EVERYTHING a foster parent needs in case kids come in to care on short notice. Another foster mom runs it! It was fabulous when I was getting a newborn with about 3 hours notice :)
